eCairn Inc. is a privately held software technology company, founded in October 2006. We specialize in blog marketing and advertising. Our headquarters are in Los Gatos, California in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Our eCairn Conversation™ application is the result of years of hands on experience performing buzz and advertising campaign on Web 2.0 properties. At its core is eCairn’s patent pending technology for blog & social media mining.

Our founders have a cumulative experience of 50+ years in e-marketing, knowledge engineering, collaborative filtering, software development and software engineering at well known companies such as Hewlett Packard, Sun, Xerox, eBay and Motorola.

Our management team includes:

Dominique Lahaix – co-founder and CEO
Dominique brings over 15 years of experience in e-marketing, knowledge engineering and software development. Prior to founding eCairn he was the CEO and founder of Cairnalys, an e-mail marketing technology company, which customers included companies such as eBay. Prior Cairnalys, he was manager of WW Consulting Practice at HP Emerging services. Dominique previously held engineering and engineering management positions at HP, McDonnell Douglas Information Systems and Tymnet. Dominique holds a Management degree  from the prestigious INSEAD European business school and an engineering degree from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, France.

Laurent Pfertzel – co-founder and COO
Laurent brings over 10 years of program and engineering management experience gathered at such companies as Motorola, Sun Microsystems, Commerce One and HP. Laurent holds a engineering degree from Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité, a top electrical engineering school based in Paris, France.
